Pastor & Wife

Bishop T. Wright Johnson is truly a man after God's own heart, a man called and sent by God. He is a chosen vessel of God to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ by fulfilling the "great commission" to continue steadfastly in the Apostles' Doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread and in prayers. [Acts 2:42] Bishop Johnson is a man full of integrity, full of faith and love, having knowledge, wisdom and understanding. He is a man of humility, with a meek and gentle spirit. The gifts of the spirit are operable in his walk with Christ. He is a true believer of God's word in its entirety.

Bishop Johnson was born and raised in Wildwood, Florida. He answered the call of God into the ministry at an early age. On this journey, he received instructions from God to relocate to Dallas, Texas, where he became the pastor and founder of Apostolic Pentecostal Assembly. Bishop Johnson has been in the ministry for over forty-fives years and is an overseer of a church in Haiti. His hearts' desire is to see souls saved as the Lord add to the church daily such as should be saved. [Acts 2:47]

As a servant and forerunner for the Lord, he has overcome many obstacles in his life. In spite of it all, God has given him great testimonies of triumph. Just to name a few, he was born an ounce from weighing a pound, and in spite of the doctor's belief, he yet lived. He was almost swallowed up by a python snake in the Vietnam War, and yet lived. He was told that he was going to go blind, and yet God brought him through. He lost the lower part of his left leg, and again God brought him through. No matter what the test, [Mark 11:22] says, "Have faith in God." Also, [Matthew 9:29] says, "According to your faith be it unto you." He is a strong warrior in the Lord and he assuredly stands on his word: "My faith is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and His righteousness."

First Lady Janette Johnson was born in Dallas, Texas. She was raised in the Baptist faith, but later converted to the apostolic way, being saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. {Acts 2:38-42}

First Lady Johnson is a virtuous woman, who is very supportive of her beloved husband, Bishop Johnson. She is a woman of many talents, loves to operate in the ministry of helps, and always willing to give an encouraging word to others. She enjoys praying, walking, traveling, quilting, cooking, and fellowshipping with the saints and studying the word of God.

First Lady Johnson has a warm, pleasant and humble spirit. She is very energetic, outgoing, and has a sense of humor. Her favorite scripture is "Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" {Psalms 133:1} Her hearts' desire is to see souls saved, set free and delivered.
